  • Remote Desktop Guacamole 0.6.0
    The latest version of the remote desktop server Guacomole supports Microsoft's RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) in addition to VNC.

    With Guacamole no special client software is required. Instead a browser supporting HTML5 and AJAX is sufficient to provide the remote desktop functionality. Besides the addition of RDP support, the latest version is faster and has better touch screen and mobile device compatibility.

    Guacamole is installed on the server as a Java Servlet Container, which requires an application server such as Apache Tomcat. When using VNC the third-party library libvncclient is required according to the Guacamole installation instructions.
